Meeting with Prof.Kozyavkin on the German TV, December 2001
On December 19, 2001 in Berlin, another event of the charitable program "Ein Herz für Kinder" ("Heart to children") attracted the attention of public organizations, politicians and ordinary citizens to the problems of special needs children.
About one thousand visitors, among them known politicians, scientists and public figures of Germany and Western Europe, were invited to the big stage of a central German TV pavilion.
The main topic of interest for the audience was a "revolutionary" method for rehabilitation of Cerebral Palsy, which was developed in Ukraine.
Invited guests were a group of German patients, treated in the Ukrainian Institute for Medical Rehabilitation, and the author of the rehabilitation system, Prof.Vladimir Kozyavkin.
The mother of one of Professor's patients, a German boy, Stefan, told about treating her son in many ways without essential results in Germany. Her boy could neither sit nor stand or walk. After the first course of treatment in Ukraine Stefan learned to stand and to walk. He also began to speak 20 new words.
