Treatment of cerebral palsy in Ukraine - International Clinic of Rehabilitation

The International Clinic of Rehabilitation, situated in an ecologically clean area of Truskavets in the Subcarpathian region of Ukraine, is a unique place that is unmatched in the world. Many specialized medical centres operate different rehabilitation programmes to treat cerebral palsy in children, but only the professionals working at the International Clinic of Rehabilitation have the opportunities, expertise and many years of positive experience of rehabilitation practice copyrighted by Professor Kozyavkin. The uniqueness of this method has been tested for decades by thousands of patients who have shown positive dynamics of rehabilitation.

For more than a quarter century, Clinic scientists and physicians have helped not only young patients from Ukraine, but also patients with cerebral palsy from the farthest corners of the world. German, Qatari, Japanese, and Kuwaiti kids have had the unique opportunity to restore their basic functions of muscle tonicity and motor activity. In 25 years, more than 70,000 children from 60 countries have successfully completed the rehabilitation course according to the Kozyavkin Method.

Positive rehabilitation results were made possible thanks to the long and painstaking research conducted by Professor Kozyavkin, the author of this method, who developed a fundamentally new rehabilitation system for patients with organic lesions of the nervous system.

The first positive reviews about the technique were announced in 1989 by Professor Kseniya Semenova. Having examined groups of patients who underwent Professor Kozyavkin’s rehabilitation course, Dr. Semenova confirmed the remarkable effectiveness of this new rehabilitation method.

Further research conducted under Professor Kozyavkin’s guidance led to a new perspective on the treatment of cerebral palsy and demonstrated the role played by the vertebral component in the etiopathogenesis of this disease. These data formed the basis for a new medical rehabilitation system, which resulted in a unique copyrighted technique for the biomechanical correction of the spine.
