Cormac Kennedy
United States Flower Mound
Cormac is being treated for cerebral palsy. He enjoys playing with toy cars, watching cartoons, swimming and riding horses with support. Cormac has been receiving various methods of treatment since he was 9 months. These therapies included conventional physical, occupational, speech, and some ‘non-conventional’ approaches including horseback-therapy and others. The therapies have produced varying degrees of progression, with the more intense ‘non-conventional’ deriving the more obvious improvements.
At 4 years old, Cormac made his initial visit to the clinic in July 2006. We liked the variety of therapies performed during the program. We have observed various improvements, as a result of the treatment received, during the program at the International Clinic of Rehabilitation. These include :
Walking with support for longer durations Minor improvements in his ability to stand with support for longer durations Increased stability in his walking patterns (with support) The most obvious improvement we observed during the program, was the decreased occurance of Cormac crossing his legs, when he was lifted from an elavated object like a chair or bed, to the floor. In addition, we were impressed with the facilities and the professional approach of the staff. If you would like to discuss our experience at the clinic, please email,
