Subject: request for rehabilitation for muscular dystrophy
Dear colleague

I’d like to present you one of my patient who is 32y old and suffering from a non-progressing benign muscular dystrophy BECKER (G71.0). He recently has married his Ukrainian girlfriend and is extremely motivated to follow a rehabilitation and to leave his wheelchair. His wife told him from your clinic and as his rehab doctor I would like to know more about your therapeutic proficiencies. Therefore, I would like to ask you what your clinic and the Kozijavkin method could offer to my patient. I am aware that this method is mainly suitable for patients with cerebral palsy, but do you have experience with this method for pure muscular diseases? His therapeutic goals are very reasonable and concern the transfer out of his wheelchair on to another chair through the upright standing position and walking short distances (ICF d4104,d4200,d4500).

If you are able to offer him a inpatient rehabilitation, how would a standard program look like? How long does he have to stay? And how much would it cost?

Thank you for your answer.

Best regards

Dear Dr Titus Bihl Lainsbury,

Thank you for your interest in our rehabilitation system.
Rehabilitation at our clinic is possible not for CP patients only but for patients with different lesions of nervous system taking into account their compensatory possibilities and functional state.

To take a decision about reasonability of treatment at the International clinic of rehabilitation our doctors would need a medical report of the patient for consideration.
Please send us a recent medical report of the patient from the neurologist stating the diagnosis and current condition either in English or German.

More information about our treatment method you may find at our web-page Also there are a lot of comments and responses left by our patients.

Treatment lasts for 12 days – start is on Monday when the doctor’s examination is conducted and the last day is on Saturday after 12 days, Sunday is a rest day. The treatment schedule can vary for every patient individually and is made on the examination day after doctor's evaluation.

The main components of our treatment system such as biomechanical correction of the spine and large joints, reflexotherapy, physical therapy and special massage therapy are the same and after the doctor’s examination each patient gets additional treatment depending on each case.

As for the rehabilitation results, they depend on every patient individually. All about our treatment method and other issues you’re interested in you may discus with the patient's attending doctor at the examination.

Kindly send us duly filled registration form (you may find it at in order to calculate the total treatment cost.

Please feel free to ask any questions.

Best regards,
Oksana Hrekhova
