From 27th to 28th February, directors of foreign diplomatic missions to Ukraine and Mrs. Kateryna Yushchenko, Head of the Supervisory Board of the “Ukraine 3000” International Charitable Foundation visited the International Clinic of Rehabilitation.

Professor Volodymyr Kozyavkin, Director of the clinic, escorted the honored guests around the establishment. They were shown the medical division in the clinic; they spoke with the medical staff and patients. The personnel of the International Clinic of Rehabilitation demonstrated methods employed in the institution and presented the clinic’s international programs.

Kateryna Yushchenko spoke about the fruitful cooperative work being done between the “Ukraine 3000” Foundation, Professor Kozyavkin and his clinic. The International Clinic of Rehabilitation is a partner in the Foundation’s and “TNK-VR Commerce” Company’s joint program, “Joy of Childhood – Free Movements”. For some years now, over 1,300 children from all regions of Ukraine have followed rehabilitation treatments in the clinic. These include orphans, pupils and wards of the state from boarding schools. Mrs. Yushchenko also thanked Volodymyr Kozyavkin for his initiative in helping children with CP from the regions that had suffered greatly during the summer floods in 2008.

During their visit, the directors of foreign diplomatic missions had the opportunity to admire architectural monuments of ancient Lviv and take part in an excursion to the health resort, Skhidnytsia and its mineral springs.
